The zine, in as little as 8 tiny pages, can make a big impact in one's ability to share their own thoughts and experiences without barriers. They have existed for decades as a tool for spreading information, sharing interests, and fostering community in a medium that is affordable and non-commercialized. Human connection and knowledge-sharing have always been at the heart of zine-making.
Out of love for the ideas that zines represent, and in response to disconnection, the curators of Enfolding will set up an exhibition, spotlighting work by local student artists as well as zine-makers from across different communities. Copies of the artists' works will be displayed in cases or shelves for visitors to borrow or take. This exhibition will live in 3 venues, all of which are important and cherished 'third spaces' of Sackville; The Roost Café, Blind Forest Books, and Gobsmacked Yarn. At each venue, viewers will be invited to visit the other locations and piece the full exhibition

We created an instagram for easy access to the artist bios and more information about the exhibition. The photo of the instagram is also a link to the instagram!
We also made 3 different pamphlets that correspond with the 3 different locations. Each of them fold into a zine to go along with the theme.
